Our desire is to take part in the Lord's work to reach the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ by executing a biblical strategy for fulfilling the Great Commision as given by the Lord Jesus Christ in Matthew 28:19-20:
"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."
The New Testament model for missions is the spreading of the gospel in a way that results in healthy churches being established under biblically qualified leadership. The focus of New Testament missions is the establishment of sound churches that take up the mandate to reach their own people. Therefore, Mission Road Bible Church believes the primary work of missions to be church planting through evangelism and discipleship and ministries that train pastors and leaders to church plant or to strengthen existing churches.
